2 MisOcc centenarians receive 200K cash gift from DSWD, Provincial Gov’t

MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL – Two centenarians in the province of Misamis Occidental, Placida Dampor Agot from Brgy. Sumasap in Panaon and Adela Claret Hipe from Barangay Northern Poblacion in Plaridel, each received a cash gift of Php 200,000 pesos for reaching the remarkable age of 100 years old. On December 5, representatives from the Provincial Social Welfare Department and employees of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) congratulated the centenarians after visiting their homes. The commendation came with a financial reward of 100,000 pesos from the national government through DSWD and an additional 100,000 pesos from the provincial government through PSWDO.
