Gov. Oaminal orders fast-tracking of MisOcc’s ongoing hospital project
OROQUIETA CITY, Misamis Occidental--Pushing for the
hastening of the ongoing hospital construction, Misamis Occidental Governor
Henry Oaminal sees that a new medical facility will better provide improved
healthcare to his constituents.
Once completed, Gov. Oaminal said the medical facility will
be pioneering the most upgraded healthcare system in the province as it is
equipped with advanced medical facilities and competent medical personnel.
With this, Gov. Oaminal on December 27, Wednesday morning,
inspected the ongoing construction of the new Misamis Occidental Provincial
Hospital infrastructure project in the province located in Talairon, Oroquieta
City as part of its commitment to expedite public service for the people.
The governor has been personally assessing the progress of
the province's crucial development projects and programs to enhance healthcare
services within communities.
When he assumed the gubernatorial post, Gov. Oaminal vowed
that one of his priorities is pushing a more affordable and accessible
healthcare to all Misamisnons.
He especially wants the underprivileged to be catered to
with the best healthcare services amid their living conditions.
Gov. Oaminal is keen to personally engage with site
engineers. Thus, urging them to work on swift completion of the project.
“The inspection covered every “nook and cranny” of the
construction site,” Oaminal said as he underscored the government’s
determination to ensure the timely completion of the medical facility.
The MOPH infrastructure project is coupled with the
governor’s commitment to improving medical services and reflects the province’s
dedication to ensuring the entire well-being of Misamisnons.
Nearing its completion, the Asenso Misamis Occidental
Medical Center is seen as crucial to providing better healthcare services to
the people. At the same time, they enjoy more improved medical facilities that
would better cater to their needs.
Misamis Occidental residents will get a boost in health
services as the construction of a multi-million project of a new provincial
hospital known as Asenso Misamis Occidental Medical Center.
The first floor of the hospital building will house the emergency department, laboratory, diagnostic center, pharmacy, patient rooms, and services and treasury while more wards and private rooms, the surgical and radiology departments will be constructed at the second floor. (SN/PGMO)
