MisOcc guv vows continuing support to local policemen
OROQUIETA CITY, Misamis Occidental--As he extended his love and concern to the peace and security caretakers, Misamis Occidental Governor Henry Oaminal vowed the Asenso administration would continue to support the police operations in the province.
In celebrating the Christmas
season this year, Gov Oaminal feted all the police officials who have
sacrificed a lot to protect the entire province and the people from any
security issues.
Gov Oaminal recalled the
province's toughest times while aiming for development, peace, and order for
the people.
“Kami inyong public civil
servants have to extend the maximum support so when I was a congressman in the
second district, I gave all my support to the best that I could in my official
capacity and even my private capacity,” he said.
The governor said more projects
are lined up to make sure that local police would be fully supported in
completing their tasks and mandates to maintain peace and order in the province.
“We continue to support kay sa gi
ingon ang mga daotang espiritu, ang naigo sa reform ug ang target sa resback
nila ako man kay dili man nila pwedi ma resbackan si former President Digong
Duterte ug ang Philippine National Police,” he said.
“With what happened last October
with 4 violent crimes, all those we believe dili to binuhatan sa mga local so
mao ni atong pagsulay dili lamang namo local leadership kundili apil tanan,” he
added.
Gov. Oaminal expressed optimism
that the provincial government in close coordination with the local police
would be able to achieve its goals of development and progression for the
benefit of every Misamisnon.
“These are things which we
believe kaya nato, kaya ninyo nga kung nakaya ninyo ang success sa law
enforcement last 2017 when we were fighting a dragon, and you were fighting a
very organized crime group which has been there for so many years under different
Presidents of the republic of the Philippines,” he said.
Gov. Oaminal called on the public servants, policemen, and the community to work together in making the Misamis Occidental better not only for its residents but also for the tourists and other visitors in the province.
Gov. Oaminal also recognized the sincerity
and dedication of all policemen in helping the provincial government achieve
its “Aseno Misamis Occidental visions.”
“This Christmas season that we
have, among gipaabot ninyo ang simple token gawas sa pa raffles, ato gi release
ninyo ang pipila nga gamay nga kantidad nga magamit ninyo karong paskoha,” he
said.
“The simple of our care with food
packs and that just symbolizes our continuing love and concern for police
officers as partners in achieving the goal of Asenso Misamis Occidental,” he
added. (SN/PGMO)
