Team Asenso’s bets for village captains dominate BSKE 2023

BONIFACIO, Misamis Occidental--The Team Asenso is pleased to announce that the majority of its members—candidates for barangay captains in Bonifacio—have been reelected and gained anew the support of their constituents.

About 24 out of 28 incumbent barangay captains, who sought reelection during the recently concluded Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE), have dominated the polls.

They will be given another two-year term to serve as village captains.

Four of their members, meanwhile, failed to sustain their posts after losing the BSKE but vowed they would continue services to people in their own capable ways, even as members of the community.

Despite this, the winning Team Asenso members remain adamant about continuing the reforms they have started with the provincial government of Misamis Occidental.

The winning Team Asenso members believe that their active community participation and push for good governance in their respective villages contributed to their triumphs during the October 30 polls.

They have also expressed gratitude for earning the trust of their constituents “that made the victory possible” after the elections.
